The Band
The Tees Hot Club Band comprises the core members of the Tees Hot Club supplemented, or substituted, as occasion allows, by other aging jazzers and social misfits from the Teesside musical fraternity. Whoever is playing, you can be sure that the set will include many popular jazz standards as well as the classic Django Reinhardt numbers.
We play with electro-acoustic instruments, so we are not too loud. You can actually talk and hear what you are saying to each other whilst the band plays!
The other unusual element is the strange percussive contraption played by Tim.
